Vivyan Ellacott’s Swansea Grand Theatre Rep Diaries 1967 - 1972

Vivyan Ellacott was manager of Swansea Grand Theatre from 1967 - 1972, during the time when John Chilvers was the administrator. Swansea Grand Theatre repertory seasons were legendary in their quality and variety of productions, providing a breeding ground for some of Britain’s top actors and actresses. He has kindly allowed the diaries he kept during the period of 1967 - 1972 to be published for the first time on this website.
